I’m Deirdre, I’m a writer & traveler from New York living abroad. At 19, I graduated college, bought a one way ticket to Honolulu, and spent the next few years moving around between Hawaii, Los Angeles, Vegas, The Hamptons, Portsmouth, Dublin, Porto and pretty much anywhere else I could get to. 15 apartments in five years not including the times I dropped everything to backpack across Asia and Europe alone, bounce through Central America and spend 2 weeks hiking 181 miles from Portugal to Spain on the Camino. (The thru hike that inspired me so much that I ended up moving to Portugal)

I have met so many creative and inspiring people throughout my travels who have encouraged me to share my writing, travels, & thoughts instead of keeping it all in journals.
