What Inspires Me <3

sunrises

starting the day correctly by waking up with the sun is probably the best part about being alive.

everyday that i see the sunrise is always a good day and i never ever regret losing sleep to see the sun :)

looking at photos of my younger self

i like to remember who i’m doing everything for. little me would want me to be happy and healthy and traveling so anytime you feel stressed, all you have to do is remember who you’re doing this for

trying new things

i hate heights. i love ziplining though. i don’t like skydiving. i love riding horses. i don’t like spicy foods, i love hot sauce though. i hate turbulance but love being on an airplane.

the only reason i know all of this is because i tried. not everything is going to be my cup of tea but at least i know that i tried.

meeting new people

getting out of my circle is the best thing i’ve ever done. i have lived my entire adult life outside of my hometown and have met some of the most amazing people from all over the world.

a chance meeting could change everything and inspire you on an entirely different path.

going home

i love new york. i really do. i know i can’t stay for too long, it holds too much, but going home has the same effect that looking at old photographs do. i remember who i’m doing this for and i love seeing how far i’ve come.

sometimes i’ll jsut drive by my old high school. attending that place seems like a different lifetime. i sometimes wonder what 15 year old me would say if she could see me now.

warm breezes

the humidity in a breeze brings me back to being 20 years old, on a tropical island for the first time. when it’s 80 degrees as the sun it setting i can feel the warmth coming from the earth and engulfing me.

especially when the sky turns purple and different shades of pink, i become overwhelmed with gratitude and inspiration to make the next day as good as this one.
